The Son's of Truth and Liberty

We have a boy's club which meets monthly. Captain Moroni came to teach the boys. Here the boys were playing what they learned about defending truth and liberty as Captain Moroni did. (see: Ancient History in the Americas in the Book of Mormon.)

Dad came home to see the titles of Liberty throughout the land.

Our Baby is One!

In the morning we have pancakes with applesauce and then open presents. Here the children regifted the old ride-on toy.

Rexburg, Idaho

We enjoyed a quick trip to frosty Rexburg to go to the Temple. Very peaceful and beautiful! It is a light on the hill.

The Hill family housed us and helped fix our broken car. The children loved riding their snowmobiles.

The Children also loved swimming at the hotel.
Here we are together, together, together, oh, here we are together in our family.

Watercolor 101

Jacob and Joseph had great fun painting with Opa. The fun still goes on when Jacob is in the mood to paint and gets the water colors out and creates another masterpiece.

Super Monday

The world was not aware of how "Super" Monday was. We got a new prophet.
It is the dawn of a new day. President Monson is the man for this new day. He is the Lord's mouthpiece. He will guide us and give us "Today's News Today".

The Man of All Seasons

Gordan B. Hinckley
He truly was a man of all seasons. He has literally served in the Lord's church for most of this last saechulum. His vision exceeded ours, but we too can look toward the light in this world and see the positive things occuring. Let us be like him. Let us "be the change we wish to see in this world." (Gandhi)

Visiting Our Greats

Grandma Dean was waiting for her dear husband to come home from the hospital. He came home and died two days later. She then died a week after his funeral. We will miss our Great Grandparents who have gone to the other side of the veil.
Grandma and Grandpa Fotheringham (aka Geneveve) are the only living of our Greats.

A Glimpse of Christmas 2007

Oma and Opa got to stay with us this year. We had fun discussing world events, cooking, doing chemistry and water colors as well as being together in our home.
Grandma and Papa Hansen are very kind to us. They had us over for their traditional Christmas brunch. It is one of our favorite activities this time of year. It brings us joy to spend time with our family.
